A contest born from love for the sea
The Sealect photo contest is an open invitation to the whole community: photograph the sea, coasts, water activities, and share what you see. The photo most loved by the community becomes the new hero image of the site — the face of Sealect for the entire edition.
How it works
In three simple steps
Shoot
Capture a shot of the sea, coast, or a water activity. No professional equipment needed: just a smartphone and a good eye.
Upload
During the registration period, submit your photo with a short caption describing the moment. One entry per person per edition.
Vote and win
The community votes for their favourite photos. The photo with the most confirmed votes becomes Sealect's hero. The winner is credited on the site.
Why we do it
To give a voice to those who love the sea
The sea you see on Sealect isn't a stock photo: it's taken by people who actually frequent those places — windsurfing instructors, lifeguards, freedivers, holidaymakers, amateur photographers. People like you.
With the photo contest we want to give visibility to the community's small photographers, build an authentic visual archive of seas and oceans around the world, and ensure the site truly reflects the stories of those who use it.
